DERRICK PACKER GIVE LAGGANI A RUN FOR HIS MONEY IN ROUND ONE

The first round of the Finals for the Masters Heavyweights had some excitement with the top two as well. MEGAWEIGHT FACE OFF!

STUNNING DISPLAY: Megaweights Tory Zak and Carlos Monza easily dominated the field in the first round of the Finals. They however sparred repeatedly for dominance against each other, including multiple cum shots to the face during their free pose. 

There was great excitement in the auditorium as the first round of the Finals kicked off. In a further break with the traditional scheduling, organizers chose to kick off with the Megaweight class and work their way backwards. One of the post popular evenings at IFNB events are the Fan-Night Posing Exhibitions. Generally scheduled between the end of the Preliminary rounds and before the Finals, the informal events give pro naked bodybuilders time to recoup, rest and prep. Though some have accused the IFNB of using it as a money-grubbing tactic to extend the program an additional night, organizers insist the Fan Nights are an important way for fans to connect more intimately with the bodybuilders when they are in top condition, and therefore most impressive.

Due to the overwhelming number of entrants and attendees, 3 official evening events were held, with smaller non-official ones also being attended.  One of the most popular was a non-official event hosted by mega stars Matt Boyer and Umberto Laggani. The long-time friends and former clothed competitors specifically wanted to thank their own fanbase and also reward clothed bodybuilders who had come to the Master’s to check out the true Alpha sport. As many of the men attending were inexperienced in the naked sport, Laggani and Boyer made the focus educational on the superiority of the sport over clothed bodybuilding, while both put their expert performing skills on display.

They chose one of the smaller venues, with arena style seating on all sides. “As a bodybuilder you have to be aware of how you look at every angle in every direction. There is nowhere to hide. And performing like this with Umberto makes us hyper aware that you cannot have a ‘bad side’ when you’re a naked performer,” says Boyer. “But we worked off each other and made sure we filled all 360 degrees of that stage.”

As part of the admission all attendees were required to be completely naked or else they would not be admitted, which initially caused some nervous laughter from the contingent of clothed bodybuilding bros. But by the time the lights dimmed, the energy was palpable from the excited room of completely nude muscle aficionados. Laggani and Boyer performed together for the first 15 minutes, then spend 45 minutes working in pairs with the audience. This included calling up star-struck fans from the audience, men used to being clothed, and having the stars flexing for them, letting them feel their muscles and cocks with their hands. In the Master’s Heavyweight class, veteran contestant Derrick Packer narrowly edged out formerly-clothed legend Umberto Laggani for the top score, but it was by a numerically insignificant 2 points. The audience obviously showed a lot of favor to the Italian, and most observers noted that Laggani out-performed Packer on an artistic and physique level, but Packer smartly played up his incredibly density and his cum shots came easily and frequently, giving him the slight advantage to pull ahead.

However, his Master’s Megaweight sponsor and training coach, Carlos Monza, takes offence at the comparison of his 19-year old protegee to Yann “the Lab Rat” Perrod. “I competed against that kid several times, and Rico is leaps and bounds ahead of where The Rat was at 19. Yann had amazing genetics to start with, of course, but then he got too focused on the enhancements and the supplements. He messed up his proportions, and he got sloppy. He stopped working hard on himself, and let the labs do the work. It was a mistake and now you don’t see him competing anymore because he lost it. But Rico is dedicated – he eats, breaths and sleeps the hard work it takes to get to the top. He is going to be the name on everyone’s lips after this show. Right after mine, of course.”

Rico Bandeas himself doesn’t see the comparisons. “Yes, Yann is definitely a talent, but we are really different.  I do nothing but work to get bigger. And get bigger the right way; through hard work, non-stop pumping, and as much Alpha cum as possible. I don’t do chemical experiments or stimulants. That’s just too much fakery.  This. . . .” he says, gesturing to his incredibly hard and incredibly lean torso and full, pre-cum leaking fuckstick, “. . . . . is because I have been totally focused on growing since I was 13.”

Outside of a quick appearance at the Expo, Bandeas has indeed been absolutely dedicated to preparation.  He’s notably been in the gym with Monza non-stop. “Carlos says I’m lean enough when he can clearly see his dick head in my gut when he is power-fucking me. THE COMPETITION BEGINS

FINDING THE TOP OF THE TOP: The preliminary rounds begin for the Master’s competition. A new show format may or may not go over well with the audiences and competitors.

As expected, with the magnitude of this anniversary year for the Master’s, the Grand Prix is off to a noteworthy start with a record number of entrants. 554 men have stripped down and agreed to stay completely nude for the next several days as the athletes vie to exhibit their pumped bodies and fat cocks for the judging panels and roaring crowds. In total, a record 238 Masters, 133 Sub-Masters, and 213 Juniors are ready to cum for each other on stage.

As has happened during other recent shows, the IFNB continues to be overwhelmed by the turnout for naked athletes, and seems to continue to underestimate how many musclemen have been inspired by the surging popularity of the one true sport of Alpha men.  Officials are hoping that a major switch in the traditional scheduling will add a bit of excitement and also hopefully mitigate some of the wait time and overcrowding for the athletes backstage. Due to the large number of preliminary rounds needed to work their way through the nude men, they will be reviewing all weight classes in turn, alternating the divisions. So they will start with the Lightweight Master’s, then Sub-Master’s, and finally Juniors, 30 contestants at a time, and progress through the weight classes that way. The hope is this will help stagger the gym use and backstage needs more than bringing the entire block of a single division up and through. They also hope it will be more exciting for the audience to be able to see intergenerational groupings throughout the day, instead of a single division each day.

Even with this accommodation, the backstage will be brimming with naked muscle of all ages and levels of experience. Also, as there have been as most recent international level IFNB events, the organizers are warning of a potential shortage of professional assistants, so they have created a ranking system that reserves the best ANBs for the elite pros, newer ANBs for the other Master’s and Sub-Master’s contestants, and amateurs (including a recent flood of local boys) for the Juniors. Of course, they are also strongly encouraging contestants to support each other and make themselves available to other registered bodybuilders if their class isn’t competing at that time. They are also betting on the Master’s tradition of Juniors who will be working backstage with their sponsors to make sure they are properly stage-ready.

CLOTHED BODYBUILDER REUNION

FRIENEMIES? Former clothed bodybuilders Matt Boyer and Umberto Laggani meet up backstage prior to the official start of competition. Although this is Laggani's first naked competition, he and Boyer have been friends and competitors for many years.

Although he is new the naked bodybuilding scene, Umberto Laggani’s anything but new to bodybuilding. An 8-time National champ and 2-time European overall winner, Laggani is a name well known among bodybuilding aficionados. So his decision to shift to the naked sport after a life competing in trunks has been big news.

The athletes of bodybuilding often are able to find a bridge between being fierce competitors and also supporting each other because of their shared Alpha experiences. One huge booster of Laggani’s at this year’s show (besides his son, of course) is fellow clothed-turned-naked bodybuilder Matt Boyer.

“Of course I know Umberto. We rarely vied against each other in direct competition, but we saw each other backstage and at expo events. I was a relatively good clothed bodybuilder when I was competing, but Umberto is a star to the clothed guys, especially in Europe. It is big news that he has made the switch and is letting the world see his big Italian dick in all its glory. I’m hoping this accelerates the education of those clothed guys that the naked sport is the true space for Alphas,” says Boyer.

“Matt and I have known each other for years – more than I’d like to say,” says Laggani with a laugh. “I remember seeing him at an Expo right after my ‘accident’ at the 2005 Coppa, and we had a long conversation about our cocks and feeling unappreciated. We realized we were both hard and pulled out our dicks to compare. Even back then, Matt’s was so thick and I really had to handle it to get my mind around just how big it was. And what a commotion that caused!” Laggani says with more laughter. “My manager at the time was real pissed, but all the other guys around us were paying real close attention. After that, whenever he was in Europe or I was in the US, we’d try to get together for a good nude workout and stim session.”

Asked if he plans to be as vocal a proponent of the naked sport as Boyer has been, Laggani demures. “Let us see how I do at my first naked competition before I become a spokesman. I’ve always tried to lead by example anyway.”
