Maintaining erections is a key to presenting the body in the masculine ideal of naked bodybuilding.  A strong, thick build with an aggressive, stiff cock are the epitome of male superiority – and thus the defining concept which establishes the judging criteria of naked bodybuilding.

In he naked bodybuilding gyms, the slang term for performing an exercise while trying to maintain a rock hard cock is called a "boned" exercise.  Not every exercise a naked bodybuilder does can be performed boned.  Then again, not every exercise should be.  

Most of the time, "refining" and "targeted muscle" exercises are what naked bodybuilders prefer doing with maintained erections.  This is because not only do those exercises make it easer to manage a thick, heavy boner, but also because targeted-muscle exercises better emulate the flexing and posing naked bodybuilders do in competitions (and, of course, for fun in private!).  

Cable pec crosses are a common boned exercise.  Naked bodybuilders can refine their pec development while practicing maintained erections easily.  The goal is to perform 3 - 5 sets of 8 - 15 reps with zero erection loss.  Often the competitor will stop mid exercise entirely should they lose their hard on.  A naked bodybuilder settles for nothing less than perfect form.

Performing exercises boned is a crucial element within any bodybuilder's pre-contests prep process.  Strengthening the mind-cock-muscle connection and the body's ability to perform intensely while aroused is he benefit to boned work. Training to stay full and hard in the cock while intensely flexed is key to winning.

  1. That's a great pose that the guy in the pic is holding...it displays the biceps, pecs, abs, and hardon all in equal measure. The only thing missing is a creamy cumshot all over his ripped/cut abs...which I'm sure he would do on the contest stage, perhaps as he was doing a vacuum pose at the same time he was cumming. But to cum at the same time a pose is held is a real skill and one he must work on in the gym.

    I'm so glad to see this "training series" start and look forward to more, especially what techniques the guys use to build up a huge store of cum prior to a contest. Is this done in public, in the gym? Or privately, in the dorm rooms of the IFNB, with what kind of "assistance?"
