With so many veteran competitors opting out of this year's Mr. Alpha, the stage was set for up-and-comers and lesser-known pros to attempt to ascend to notoriety. Most fans were struggling to recall names of competitors they saw, as so few were the big names we have become familiar with.
Indeed, the standout from the recent PowerDong was Gerard Bouchelle. Ina normal year, the inexperienced yet massively-ego'ed middleweight might not have gotten nearly as much comparison time.
