For years the Editors at the IFNB Report have received countless emails asking why we have never covered the IFNB PowerDong Classic. Now in it's 17th year, the PowerDong has long been a pro level nude bodybuilding competition known for it's celebration atmosphere and remarkably high attendance of pros. Indeed, the PowerDong is often a favorite competition among pros, much due to the PowerDong's head promoter Jean Trubot, who has run the contest for 12 of it's 17 long years. Trubot is known for treating the pro muscle alphas of the sport like rarified royalty, and few expenses are spared in ensuring the competitors are well taken care of during the contest.shows how head promoter Jean Trubot is both a power player among promotersyet also known for being incredibly frugal,

The PowerDong Muscle Classic in Canada shares it's name with a USA competition also named PowerDong. The confusion was due to the founder of both shows, promoter Edward "Jack" Vetter, never presuming both would end up at the pro level. The Canadian PowerDong Muscle Classic has been pro for a long time, while it's causing in the USA remained at the amateur level. yet last year the USA's PowerDong also was granted IFNB pro level status, creating two naked bodybuilding contests with the same name: the PowerDong Southern States in the USA, and the PowerDong Muscle Classic in Canada.
To help maintain a distinction between the two contests, this year the IFNB has deemed the PowerDong Canada an Elite Pro Level event, while the USA PowerDong remains a Base Pro Event. Between this distinction and the PowerDong's positioning in the year as a contest where Elite Pros secure their invitation to the Mr. Alpha – a factor that Trubot has gone to great pains to promote – we found a great motivation to cover this event.
"I would not say this contest will be a preview of the upcoming Mr. Alpha," Trubot told us. "But I am expecting some impressive cocks and muscle in this line up. We have always attracted the Elite Level pros, but the fact that this year's contest is officially Elite status fills us with hopes that the event will be more exciting than ever."
Adding to the excitement is the annual PowerDong Muscle Sports Expo. Now in it's 7th yea,r the PowerDong Expo is the second largest nude muscle sports industry event in North America, after the expansive FreaXpo, but this year they seem to really giving the FreaXpo a run for it's money. The PowerDong Expo has over 600 presenters and booths, as well as an impressive array of all nude events and demonstrations. It is no doubt going to be a thrill for any dedicated fan to naked muscle and male cock power.

ReplyDeleteJust a few quick questions before we get going – I know we had some overage of the PowerDong earlier in the year in the AMATEUR LEAGUE 2015 ROUND UP 17. In that post, the long-time promoters were identified as Perry Arlon, Jack Vetter and Chris Orit, but now Trubot has (and has been) a promoter as well? I know Vetter has been less active as a promoter, since he’s been doing it since the 90’s.
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of, I hope we have extensive coverage of not only the competitions, but also of the expo. Jack “Coach PowerDong” Vetter is really the originator of the NBB expos, so I hope there’s some realy fun stuff amongst the 600 exhibitors. Maybe “PowerDong” Vetter himself will give one of his own famed power-fuck-to-cum-hands-free coaching demonstrations.
And so close to the actual Mr. A starting, I wonder if some of the biggest contenders might not be laying low and training for that, but I hope we’ll see a few familiar faces (and muscles. . . . and cocks).

DeleteWell that clears that up. I know, confusingly, other events for naked amd non-naked contests use the same persons name. In any event, excited to see what those strapping Canadians have in store.
DeleteIt seems o be an international show. Which means that, while there will probably be a lot of Canadians, we're likely to see naked muscle from all over the world. It's Elite pro, so let's hope some of the BIG boys come out!!
DeleteThe poster says "manadatory nude attendance for all finals." Wow!....that will be quite a scene, with audience members sprouting boners and cumshots as they view the onstage action. Count me in!
