The DragonCock has worked hard to become a major pro show in the IFNB schedule, and one tactic has been to expand the show's breadth in the way Western contests do. While there is no DragonCock Expo yet, this year's agenda is highly expanded with exciting fan features. And just as the DC has offered an amateur Teen Competition this year, so too did they feature a special Teen Preview night. And the young muscle stud who captured the fans' imagination was a 18-year-old who just goes by Yamakoro.The Teen Competitor Preview is part of the competition's opening series of events, and models itself closely to aspects of the IFNB Beef Boy Classic, the biggest international teen & collegiate naked muscle event in the world. The Preview was held in the main hall, but there was no backstage area; the hard-cocked muscle boys were mingled entirely among fans for the first hour before being brought forward. IFNB contest promoter Erick Ward (mastermind behind this year's incredible Freak Show and FreaXpo) was appointed in charge of the Teen Preview, and thought through every detail:
"In addition to mandatory nudity for all teens, we think it is a crucial learning experience to prevent these young men any privacy," Ward told us. "Originally the promoters planned to have the teens prep for this Preview backstage, but those of us in the Pro Naked Muscle game wouldn't stand for such coddling! DeleteThis is an IFNB rule ; and the competitors, the audience as well ,staff members and helpers are over 18 . some of them could look younger but there is no exception to this rule and I'm quite sure their ID has been checked...

ReplyDeleteWard knows how to put on a great show. The Teen Preview may not be as awe inspiring as the Megaweight and Masters competitions, but there's something refreshing about teenage arrogance and enthusiasm for the sport. Letting the fans get up close and personal draws big crowds and generates a lot of buzz. Even with the other events going on at DC, most people are still talking about what they got to see and touch last night, or whining about how they missed it.
ReplyDeleteI was glad to see they eliminated the backstage areas for the event. It acclimates the young alphas to the life of constant exposure they will receive when they cross the threshold into the pro circuit, and the sink or swim approach really brings out the inner alpha.
Can't wait to see how Yamakoro does when he's all grown up.
